Last night as I got into bed, I snuggled up to N and the pups, obviously sad, obviously lost. As I pulled away to grab my book, he asked “Are you ok?” Even in this most trusting, loving, and safe relationship, I still took a deep breath and said, “yea.” He then reached out for my hand and said, “It’s ok to say no.” A few tears trickled down my cheek. “Then no. Bringing on the REAL

So much of my trepidation over starting a blog and figuring out what to write stemmed (and continues to stem) from my struggle with how much I can share of reality.
