There was a time in my life where I didn’t love to read. I struggled to keep up and actually had my teacher call my parents to say that I needed help. I remember sitting on the couch in my childhood home with my dad helping me to get through a book (chosen by my super-advanced-reader BFF at the time) that I was behind in for a group book report. Changing it Up

When I started this blog, I had no idea I was on my way to starting my own business. I simply wanted a space to write down the stories of my life.  I had so much fear around starting because I felt that all my stories worth telling would be negative. So far, I’ve largely fulfilled that prophecy, writing about the trauma of seeing an ex, depression and the failure of my mother to fulfill her role.
